CITY OFFICIALS TESTY OVER WATER BILL ISSUE

BrocktonPostBROCKTON----City officials are taking steps to have an independent auditor speak individually to city councilors and some individual residents about problems associated with disputed water bills and are developing a type of official water dispute form that would allow residents to contest their water bill and ensure those residents meet a Feb. 1 deadline. Utilities Maintaining all Water and Sewer pipes on a 24 hour basis is our responsibility. We maintain all water lines and install new mains as well as deliver high quality, safe drinking water throughout the City. We oversee water main replacement and repair of leaks. Reading and reporting water usage is also a function of our division. We provide emergency service to Brockton residents should they have sewerage backup into their homes or property.
